This is a fabulous late 60s/ early 70s light green chiffon cocktail/ party dress with a beaded waistband. The bodice is sleeveless with a V-neckline and backline wrap-over, gathered at the waistband and shoulders. The waistband is decorated with green and silver seed beads and diamantés. The skirt is a half-circle and gathered at the waist for a beautiful drape, perfect for dancing! Back metal zip closure. Fully lined. 

COLOR: Light green top layer with yellow lining and green and silver beadwork. A golden effect. 

MATERIAL: Poly chiffon, synthetic lining, glass beads.

LABEL: Miss Elliette, California

Miss Elliette was a brand owned by Eliiette Ellis. Ellis was born in Montreal to Lebanese parents and studied at the Traphagen School of Fashion in New York. She started her own label in Los Angeles in 1952, making mid-priced feminine dinner and cocktail dresses, often using chiffon. The label continued until the 1990s. 

CONDITION: Unfortunately, this fab number has a few issues. There are some stains on the skirt, to the chiffon and lining. There is also some beadwork loose or missing- please see photos. Priced as-is.
